I cant get car insurance at all. Literally no insurance company in Canada will insure me. Isnt it great being forced to buy shit that no one will actually sell you?

here in quebec we got cheap insurance rates, I pay less than 800.00 a year for my 2014 pathfinder fully insured and my 97 jeep TJ has Liability coverage.

Private insurance in quebec is only for property damage, since personal injuries are provincial. we pay them with our licences and plates.
my licence renewal about 82.00$ a year(insurance included in that price) and plates are about 182.00 a year.

I don’t even know anymore. I’m shopping around now and getting much more reasonable quotes. The thing my wife and I are laughing about is that minimum coverage on a beater in Florida is like $300 a month so this isn’t completely insane compare to our old rates.

Don’t get me started on Ontario insurance costs. My (soon to be ex) insurance provider is doubling my rate next month. I called them and they told me it was a “policy change”, but it comes after Ontario shows it’s 2016 Budget. My family has been using them for 20+ years, guess who is losing customer.
I’m looking at jobs on the east coast, Insurance is about half the avg cost for Ontairo, the cost of living is less, and the sea food.
